What is Nano Fat Grafting?

Nano Fat Grafting is also known as:

  • Micro-Fat Grafting
  • SVF  –  (Stromal Vascular Fraction)
  • ALMI (Autologous Lipocyte Micronized Injection)

Nano Fat Grafting is a revolutionary new treatment and its popularity is growing exponentially  (with good reason). If you are looking to improve very specific and delicate areas of your skin then look no further than Nano Fat Grafting. This procedure specializes in targeting skin areas that are very fine and delicate such as the face and the hands. It is perfect for wrinkles, scars, skin discoloration, sun damage and dark eye circles. The improvement you can achieve with this revolutionary treatment cannot be achieved with any other treatment modality regardless of cost.

How does Nano Fat differ from Structural Fat Grafting?

Nano Fat Grafting is used to target fine lines and wrinkles, skin rejuvenation and scars. Structural Fat Grafting on the other hand is used to revive the facial structure. It does this by restoring overall facial volume with improved, rejuvenating contours in areas such as cheeks, jaw lines and more.  These two procedures are NOT mutually exclusive and quite commonly are performed together to achieve the best positive results.

What does the procedure involve?

The process begins with liposuction in order to harvest the fat that will be used to fill the desired areas. The donor fat is extracted using a very fine liposuction cannula, which is a long thin tube. Common areas for harvesting are the flanks, inner knees, buttocks, abdomen, and outer thighs. Unlike Brazilian Butt Lift and Liposculpture, Nano Fat requires small amounts of fat and gets collected in a special way.

The fat is processed and refined down to a Nano level and it is almost emulsified or liquefied. Nano and Micro like their names suggest, refer to very-very small particles of fat. These are much smaller than the very small particles used for structural fat grafts. We spin the fat in a centrifuge in order to separate it from other fluids. This also helps us select the best quality fat that show good prospect for longevity.  This technique also purifies and reduces the particle size.

Survival of the injected fat is cr

r its success rate. When the fat particles are very small on a micro or nano level the chance of survival is greater. If the particles are large the inner cells don’t get exposed to a good blood supply and eventually will lose their vitality and perish.

Once the filtration and purification is complete we inject the fat into the desired areas. The nature of the  procedure requires very precise injections in specific areas.

What can Nano Fat Grafting do for me?

It can restore and improve the appearance of your skin, resulting in a more fresh and youthful feel to your face.  Many people prefer Nano Fat Grafting because it is safe, minimally invasive and a natural way to augment your appearance.  It specializes on very specific areas that need minimal amounts of fat transfer.

The benefits of this procedure is that you can correct fine lines and contours in the face like wrinkles and you can also revitalize the color of the skin in specific regions. Because of its Nano nature this procedure reduces the risk of lumpiness after the injection. The Nano Fat disperses well and creates a smooth filling in the injected area. It can also be used to treat difficult wrinkles on your neck, chest and hands, as well as other body areas too.

  • No allergic reactions
  • Economical
  • Effective anti aging procedure

How and why does Nano Fat work?

The results from Nano Fat Grafting can be amazing.  Its success lies in its unique ability to rejuvenate tissue primarily because Nano Fat is incredibly rich in growth factors.

What to expect from this procedure?

It is important to note that you won’t leave the operating room looking great. There could be swelling for about 2-3 weeks and then you will be able to access the results. The permanent results will settle in about 6 months. This is because the injected fat needs time to adjust to its new environment.

The treatment will take place in our state of the art Tampa Bay Cosmetic Surgery Center. It will be performed by Dr. Kass who has an extensive experience in fat transfers. What to Expect After Nano Fat Grafting

Many patients tell us that right after the procedure, you might notice some swelling and mild discomfort in the treated areas, which is completely normal. This usually lasts about 2 to 3 weeks. It’s important to remember that the full, permanent results will take up to 6 months to fully develop as the transferred fat adapts and integrates with your tissue.

During your recovery, you’ll want to follow all post-procedure instructions carefully to ensure the best possible outcome. You’ll notice gradual improvements in skin texture, color, and fine lines, especially in delicate areas like the face, neck, and hands. Because Nano Fat Grafting uses your own fat, it’s a safe and natural way to rejuvenate your appearance without the risks of allergic reactions.

FAQs

Q: What is Nano Fat Grafting and how is it different from traditional fat grafting?

A: Nano Fat Grafting involves harvesting very small particles of fat that are rich in growth factors, which target fine lines, wrinkles, and skin rejuvenation. Traditional or Structural Fat Grafting focuses on restoring facial volume and contours. Both treatments are often combined for optimal results.

Q: How long does it take to see results after Nano Fat Grafting?

A: Initial swelling may last 2-3 weeks, but the permanent results typically settle in about 6 months as the transferred fat becomes established in the new area.

Q: Are there any risks or side effects associated with Nano Fat Grafting?

A: Because Nano Fat Grafting uses your own fat cells, allergic reactions are extremely rare. Some swelling, bruising, or mild discomfort may occur but generally resolves within a few weeks.

Q: What areas of the body can Nano Fat Grafting treat?

A: Nano Fat Grafting is ideal for delicate areas such as the face, hands, neck, and chest, targeting fine wrinkles, scars, discoloration, sun damage, and dark circles under the eyes.

Q: How is the fat harvested and processed for Nano Fat Grafting?

A: Fat is gently harvested via liposuction from donor sites like the flanks or abdomen using a fine cannula, then processed and refined down to a nano level to maximize survival and regenerative benefits before being precisely injected into the treatment areas.
